    WWII ONLINE

Can you elaborate? The game mechanics they designed (HC & TOE aspects) eroded player freedom and reduced the game to everyone fight in a box. This in turn took the squads, leadership personas, variance in gameplay options and the majority of what people found to be fun in the game away with it. When you add years of those mechanics never being changed, poor dev choices with the little resources they had and a complete lack of understanding their own product, you get to call yourself an mmopg that has 100 people on the server during peak these days. While the product and resources were never going to get blizzard type subscriber numbers, it certainly had the potential to have 10x the people playing it today had it chosen some different paths. They spent their last big dev effort years ago on making a cod version of the game called rapid assault. That was a complete flop to say the least and completely showed how disconnected they are from ever developing a game people would want to play. COD type players do not want to play with shit lag/those graphics and ww2 online players didnt want some sand box sim. Who's buying that pos? Anyway, the game was great long ago and most likely will never be salvaged until someone comes along and tries again Man... this conversation is like talking to your ancestors and realizing that things never change.... :P You probably have no idea what i mean by this but it would take too long to explain.

I started a PS1 F2P petition to SOE, I could use some help

I would almost suggest petitioning for PS 2 to be Planet Side 2 as Stryker mentioned but.... yeah.... probably never ever going to happen.

    GuildWars 2

May or may not play... not... sure. Looks interesting.. looks even game play wise very good... but something about it is just not pulling me in. No idea what. Logically it should... it may just be a fantasy MMORPG burn out...

    PS2 Details?

I do not know if it is absolutely certain, i believe Beta will play a significant role, but NC does appear to be the over all direction. However... take that tentatively until command tells you, i'm just the guy with the knife. Also, Yo Xasperator!

You are correct in my assumption, but as it has not been stated one way or another, it is a bit early to say that any assumption is incorrect. All that can be said is that i am assuming and do not know, which is certainly correct (And i stated as much originally). It is an educated guess that has a basis for conjecture the corresponds with the reveal of the Mossie which is, at base, seemingly quite similair in it's primary or base role, to the former Mossie (Fastest, generally built for scouting but can be altered to fill other roles). When NC week comes up, we will see if i am actually incorrect or not in the end.

Awww.... Mossie was my favorite. Nothing like darting in, shooting down a couple of slow ass reavers, and then burning through the trees to repair. No, the mossie will still be there. Every empire gets its on baseline fighter with its own name. You can then customize it to become like the original Reaver or Mosquito. The fact that the devs are keeping some of the old names is making some people think that the old Reaver is just available to one empire. The base Reaver is for the NC. the Base Mossie is for the TR. customizing towards something different is outside of that idea. Based on the news about how the mossie works... it is designed to be like a Mossie to start. I assume the Reaver will be the same or similair and what ever the Vanu will have will be what ever. Based on toher Vanu specific stuff, i expect it to be submersible, or walk on land or something. Or maybe it'll just be a flying saucer and extra able to hover easily. Completely incorrect. The mossie, for example, can be like the old mossie or the old reaver, OR the wasp. "Question: What weapons for Mosquito? kevmo0: Classic rocket pods or Air 2 Air Missles." (note: a2a missles not exactly like the old wasp) It would be correct for you to say "The Reaver is the name of the base NC fighter. The Mosquito is the name of the base TR fighter." There will be differences, such as flight speed, but the differences will not be as profound as the OLD Reaver is the NC's airplane and the OLD mossie is the TR's. How can you tell me it is completely incorrect when they have distinctly said that each of the base fighters has pros and cons and then you can customize them? Obviously if you emphasize the pros on one of them, it will be better at it than another version that has that attirbute as a con instead. Just because it can be customized to be similair does not mean the Mossie will be able to literally be a Mossie, Reaver or Wasp when compared to a Reaver or what ever the Vanu have. Customizability does not mean that it can literally be just as good at anything as anything else. If that is the case, there is no reason for it to be empire specific. Your own quote indicates it will be different from a Wasp even with similair weapons, and just because a mossie has rocket pods, that does not mean it is a Reaver even if it can play a similair role. I beleive what i said before was misunderstood however. All i was getting at was that it is not just a name. ALl of the fighters have a specific base line role. Tweaking them and customizing them towards different roles does not mean that it will be able to "beat" the one designed for a role pound for pound even if it can still compete. I think the issue here is that you are using the word "old mossie and old reaver" and I am assuming that because the entire flgiht mechanics and way the game will work is different, none of them will truly be like the "old anything" regardless of spec. They will be their new iterations with a nod towards what was at best, in my eyes. (Edit: I also want to note I am not trying to be arguementative, but we are both working off of conjecture and likely simply semantic wording differences. Cut away the fat and i'm just saying a Mossie != Reaver != "Scythe" as each are at a base elvel different by design even if they now can be altered to fill different roles that may make them similair to what we were used to)

And Pine redefines a back door Gen drop and hold. Now when i have to negotiate for time to play PS 2, i can tell my Lady, "It's like having sex with 30 other guys in the same little room while being back doored by waves of other guys until they send their lamentations."
